Module, Telematics Gateway: Removal: Removal

NOTE:

Mid level shown, base similar.

  1. Perform a complete backup of user data. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  3. Remove the instrument cluster bezel (2). Refer to BEZEL, INSTRUMENT CLUSTER, REMOVAL .
  4. Remove the switch bank. Refer to POD, SWITCH BANK, REMOVAL .

  5. Remove the Telematics Gateway Module (TGM) (2) retainers (1).

    CAUTION:

    Pulling the antenna cable straight out of the radio without pulling on the locking antenna connector could damage the cable or radio.

  6. Pull the TGM out far enough to access the harness connectors.
  7. If equipped, disconnect the antenna(s) (1), RF Hub and UCI cables (4), video cable (3) and wiring connectors (2) from the TGM.
  8. Remove the TGM from the vehicle.
