Diagnostic Test

VERIFY THE DTC IS ACTIVE
1. Ignition on, engine not running.
2. With the scan tool, read and record the DTCs.
3. With the scan tool, erase the DTCs.
4. Cycle the ignition from off to on.
5. With the scan tool, read the DTCs.
  Is the DTC active at this time?
  
  Yes
  - Refer to TOTALLY INTEGRATED POWER MODULE (TIPM) - DIAGNOSTIC CODE INDEX and perform the U0102-LOST COMMUNICATION WITH TRANSFER CASE CONTROL MODULE/AWD diagnostic procedure.
  No
  - Refer to DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING and perform the STORED LOST COMMUNICATION DTCS diagnostic procedure.
