Diagnostic Test

- VERIFY THE DTC IS ACTIVE NOTE:
Make sure the IOD fuse is installed and the battery is fully charged before proceeding.
- Turn the ignition on.
- With the scan tool, read active DTCs.
Is the DTC active at this time?
Yes
- Perform the U0141-Lost Communication with IPM (FCM/TIPM) diagnostic procedure. Refer to U0141-LOST COMMUNICATION WITH IPM (FCM/TIPM) .
No
- Perform the Stored Lost Communication DTCs diagnostic procedure. Refer to COMMUNICATION - DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING .
