Module, Powertrain Control: Removal: 2.4L/3.2L

CAUTION:

Do not disconnect the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) electrical connectors before the ignition key is in the off position and the battery cable disconnected. If these steps are not preformed damage to the PCM may result from a voltage spike.

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable.
  2. Disconnect the Powertrain Control module electrical connector (1).
  3. Remove the nuts (2, 3) that secure the PCM to the PCM mount

  4. If required, remove the PCM mount (3).
