Set Condition

When the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) module detects an implausible (default/error value, toggle error or parity error) message from the Body Control Module (BCM).

The ACC module will disable the ACC system and a message will be displayed in the Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC) indicating that the Adaptive Cruise Control has been disabled. Once the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) goes to stored, the ACC system will return to normal operation. The DTC will be cleared after a 100 consecutive ignition cycles with no active detection.
