Module, Keyless Ignition Node: Removal: Removal

Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.

Using a trim stick (special tool #C-4755, Trim Stick) or equivalent, work around the perimeter of the bezel, and across the middle releasing the retaining clips (1) and separate the bezel from the instrument panel.

Disconnect the electrical connectors (1) and remove the bezel.

Loosen the steering column surround bezel (2) on the instrument panel closeout.
Position the telematic steering column outward.
Remove the two screws (1) securing the Keyless Ignition Node (KIN) bezel to the instrument panel. The second screws was concealed by the steering column surround bezel.

Disconnect the electrical connector from the KIN.

Remove two screws (1) securing the KIN to the bezel.
