Diagnostic Test

VERIFY DTC IS ACTIVE

Turn the ignition on.
With the scan tool, read the active DTCs.
Does the scan tool display; U0164-LOST COMMUNICATION WITH HVAC CONTROL MODULE as Active?

Yes
- Refer to U0164-00-LOST COMMUNICATION WITH HVAC CONTROL MODULE and perform the U0164-Lost Communication with HVAC Control Module.
No
- Refer to STORED LOST COMMUNICATION DTCS and perform the Stored Lost Communication DTCs diagnostic procedure.
