Module, Keyless Ignition Node: Installation: Installation

  1. Install and tighten (1) the Keyless Ignition Node (KIN) to the kin bezel.

  2. Connect the electrical connector (1) to the KIN.

  3. Install and tighten (1) the KIN bezel to the instrument panel. The second screw is located on the steering shroud side of the bezel.

  4. Install the instrument cluster bezel (1). Refer to BEZEL, INSTRUMENT CLUSTER, INSTALLATION .
  5. Connect the negative battery cable.
  6. If the KIN is being replaced, perform the RFHM verification test. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
