Universal Transmitter: Operation

The universal HomeLink® transmitter or Universal Garage Door Opener operates on a fused Body Control Module (BCM) feed via a high side driver so the unit will remain functional, regardless of the ignition switch position. The transceiver has a security ground and the BCM will disable this system any time the vehicle security alarm is armed.
