REINITIALIZATION And Obstacle Detection Calibration

PROCEDURE 2: Re-initialization & Obstacle Detection Calibration
Procedure 2 must be followed to re-initialize sunroof and calibrate obstacle detection when one of the following are true:
- Original existing motor has been removed and re-installed on the sunroof module.
- Sunroof glass closed position setting incorrect.
- Sunroof glass is auto-reversing during express close operation but no obstruction in roof opening.
- Set vehicle ignition to ACCESSORY or start engine.
- Press and hold the sunroof CLOSE switch until the sunroof glass panel is fully closed, release switch.
- Press and hold the sunroof CLOSE switch again. After 10 seconds the re-initialization process will be begin; do not release switch.
- The sunroof glass panel will move into the vent position then stall and stop motion.
- Release the sunroof CLOSE switch, then press and hold it again within 5 seconds, do not release switch.
- As the sunroof CLOSE switch is held, the sunroof glass panel will move to the fully closed position, then to the fully opened position and then fully closed again.
- Once all sunroof motion has stopped release the sunroof CLOSE switch, re-initialization and obstacle calibration is complete. Note: If the switch is released prior to the sunroof completing all operations described the entire procedure must be repeated.
- Confirm sunroof express operation (press & release switch) is functional for open, vent and close operations.
