Diagnostic Test

  1. CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC 
    1. Test drive the vehicle.
    2. Park the vehicle on a level surface and allow to idle for a minimum of 10 seconds.
    3. With the scan tool, erase ACC DTCs.
    4. Turn the ignition off.
    5. Start the engine.
    6. With the scan tool read ACC DTCs.

      Does this DTC return?

      Yes 

      • Go To  2

      No 

      • If the DTC can be erased without returning, no further repair is necessary, test complete.
      • Perform the ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  2. ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM 
    1. This DTC is an informational DTC detecting that there is a DTC stored in the Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) Module.

      View repair

      Repair 

      • Repair the ABS DTC(s). Refer to DIAGNOSTIC CODE INDEX .
        NOTE:

        It may be necessary to perform the ABS Initialization routine with the scan tool to reset the vehicle configuration.
