Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC 

1. With the scan tool, read DTCs and record on the repair order, then erase DTCs.
2. Insert a good, clean, unscratched disc into the EDM.
3. Turn the radio and EDM on.
4. With the scan tool, read DTCs.

   Did the DTC return?

   Yes 

   • Eject the disc and replace the External Disc Module (EDM) in accordance with the Service Information.
   • Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .

   No 

   • Test Complete.
   • Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
