Module, HVAC: Installation

  1. Position the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) module (3) to the Instrument Panel.
  2. Install the three retaining screws (1) that secure the HVAC module to the HVAC housing.
  3. Tighten all the screws that secure the HVAC module to the HVAC housing to 2 N.m (17 in. lbs.).
  4. Connect the wire harness connectors (2) to the HVAC module.
  5. Install the radio. Refer to RADIO, INSTALLATION .
  6. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
  7. Initiate the Actuator Calibration function using a scan tool. .
