Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the steering column opening cover. Refer to COVER, STEERING COLUMN OPENING, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  3. Disconnect the wiring harness connector (1) from the back of the Keyless Ignition Node (KIN) module.

  4. Remove the three screws (1) securing the KIN to the opening cover.
