Module Programming: 3.0L

NOTE:

If a new 3.0L Engine Controller was installed, it must be programmed to the latest available calibration before proceeding.

NOTE:

Please refer to INJECTOR CLASSIFICATION prior to replacing the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). You will need to record the injector codes via the injector programming routine.

If a 3.0L Controller was replaced, navigate to "Misc. Functions" and perform all applicable routines:

Is the ECU responsive?
1. Yes - Perform the "ECU Replacement With Value Transfer" and then skip to step #3.
2. No - Perform the "ECU Replacement Without Value Transfer" routine and perform steps #2 and #3.
If the ECU was not responsive, perform the "Injector Quantity Adjustment Reset" routine.
Perform the "SCR DEF Tank Fluid Level" routine.
