Sensor, Particulate Matter: Installation

  1. Install the Particulate Matter (PM) sensor (1). Tighten sensor to 50 N.m (37 ft. lbs.).

  2. Route the wire harness and install the exhaust heat shield retainers (2).

  3. Install the PM sensor module (1). Tighten nuts (3) to 9 N.m (80 in. lbs.).
  4. Connect the PM sensor module wire harness into retainer (2).
  5. Connect the PM sensor wire harness connector (4).
  6. Remove support and lower the vehicle.
  7. Connect the negative battery cable.
