Module, Drivetrain Control (DTCM): Installation

1. Position the Drive Train Control Module (DTCM) (3) in the mounting bracket.
2. Slide the module into place until the locking tabs are secure.
3. Connect the body wire harness connector to the module connector receptacle.
4. Install the cover panel onto the electronic module tub (4).
5. Connect the negative battery cable, for battery location and cable connection procedure. Refer to CABLES, BATTERY, INSTALLATION .
6. If replacing the DTCM, the transfer case, or both, use the scan tool to perform the Non-Volatile Memory Reset procedure.
7. Perform the DTCM verification test. Refer to DTCM VERIFICATION TEST .
