Module, Electronic Shift (ESM): Removal

  1. Apply the parking brake.
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  3. Remove the shifter bezel. Refer to BEZEL, SHIFTER, REMOVAL .

  4. Remove the four shifter bolts (1) and lift the shifter assembly (2) up enough to allow access to the shifter wire harness connector.

  5. Disconnect the shifter wire harness connector (1).
  6. Remove the shifter from the vehicle.
