Sensor, Fuel Tank Pressure: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the fuel filler cap to relieve tank pressure.

  3. Remove the B-pillar lower panel.

  4. Remove the inner cover.

  5. Disconnect the fuel tank pressure sensor electrical connector (1).

  6. Carefully raise the retaining tab (2), rotate and remove the fuel tank pressure sensor (1) from the fuel tank vent tube.

  7. The fuel tank pressure sensor seal (1) can be reused if not damaged.

  8. If required, separate the fuel pressure line (1) at the sensor (2).

  9. If required, raise the vehicle.
  10. Remove the pressure line (1) from the charcoal canister.
  11. Remove the line from the clips (2).
  12. Remove the line from the vehicle.
