Module, Vehicle System Interface (VSIM): Installation

- Position the Vehicle System Interface Module (VSIM) (1) to the bracket with the upper guide (2) aligned with the VSIM bracket opening.
- Engage the upper VSIM guide to the slot opening (1) located at the top of the VSIM bracket.
- Seat the lower portion of the VSIM to the bracket and press inward until the lower guide (1) snaps into position.
- Connect the wire harness connectors (1) to the VSIM.
- Install the instrument panel end cap. Refer to CAP, INSTRUMENT PANEL END, INSTALLATION .
- Install the steering column opening cover. Refer to COVER, STEERING COLUMN OPENING, INSTALLATION .
- Connect the negative cable to the battery. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), reconnect the IBS connector.
