  1. Position the Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFLS) module (1) into the right front corner of the engine compartment.
  2. Connect the headlight and dash wire harness connector (3) to the AFLS module connector receptacle.
  3. Align the AFLS module mount to the blade-type bracket (2) integral to the right front corner of the Power Distribution Center (PDC) bracket.
  4. Push the AFLS module mount down over the bracket until the latch feature snaps into place.
  5. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
NOTE:

Whenever the Advanced Front Lighting System (AFLS) module is removed and reinstalled or replaced with a new unit, it is necessary for the AFLS module to be configured and calibrated to the vehicle using a calibration procedure. Follow the programming steps outlined in the diagnostic scan tool for the "AFLS Module Calibrate" routine under "Miscellaneous Functions" for the "AFLS Module" menu item as appropriate.
