Module, Anti-Lock Brake System (Abs): Installation

Clean any debris off the mating surfaces of the Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) and Antilock Brake System (ABS) module.
NOTE:
Do not lubricate the ABS module seal.

A new seal (1) must be installed to properly seal the ABS module (2); DO NOT REUSE ANY ABS MODULE SEALS .

Align and install the ABS module (1) to the HCU (2).

Install and securely tighten the ABS module to HCU mounting fasteners (3).
Install and securely tighten the Integrated Control Unit (ICU) to bracket fasteners.
Install the ICU. Refer to INTEGRATED CONTROL UNIT (ICU), INSTALLATION .
