Module, Drivetrain Control (DTCM): Description
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2021 Chrysler 300. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
The Drivetrain Control Module (DTCM) is located in the driver-side footwell, under the foot rest. The DTCM communicates through the Controller Area Network (CAN) bus to optimize the performance of the All Wheel Drive (AWD) functionality.
The AWD system incorporates anticipator launch capability, infinitely variable torque (e.g. front/rear torque split) and optimizes traction on all surfaces, and in all dynamic scenarios.
