Module, Forward Facing Camera (FFCM): Installation

NOTE:
Ensure that both inside and outside of the windshield in the area of the Forward Facing Camera Module (FFCM) is clean of dirt, dust, or finger prints prior to installation.
- Install the FFCM to the bracket on the windshield. Position the FFCM to the bracket attachment point (1) making sure that the alignment tabs (3) are in the proper location and set the FFCM in place until the bracket locks (2) engage.
- Connect the wire harness connector (1) to the FFCM (2).
- Assemble the rear view mirror covers into place. Refer to MIRROR, REARVIEW, INSTALLATION .
- Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
- Perform the FFCM calibration procedure. Refer to MODULE, FORWARD FACING CAMERA (FFCM), MODULE PROGRAMMING .
