Module, HVAC: Installation

NOTE:

- Position the HVAC module (1) to the air inlet housing (4) and engage the module to the front retaining fasteners (2).
- Loosely install the fastener (5) that secures the rear of the HVAC module to the air inlet housing.
- Tighten all the fasteners that secure the HVAC module to the air inlet housing to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Connect the wire harness connector (3) to the HVAC module.
- Install the glove box trim panel and glove box. Refer to GLOVE BOX, INSTRUMENT PANEL, INSTALLATION .
- Install the right side instrument panel silencer. Refer to PANEL, SILENCER, INSTALLATION .
- Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
- Initiate the "Actuator Calibration" function using a diagnostic scan tool. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
