Module, Integrated Center Stack (ICSM): Operation
The Integrated Center Stack (ICS) module allows manual control of the multiple vehicle systems. The ICS module communicates on the Controller Area Network - Interior High Speed (CAN-IHS) data bus and controls all connected vehicle systems via CAN messages.
The ICS module receives fused B+ from a fuse in the rear Power Distribution Center (PDC) and ground through a connection at the instrument panel carrier behind the left side of the radio.
The individual controls located in the ICS module cannot be adjusted or repaired. If any control on the ICS module or control indicator lamp is inoperative or damaged, the entire ICS module must be replaced. Refer to MODULE, INTEGRATED CENTER STACK (ICSM), REMOVAL .
The individual controls located in the Uconnect® touchscreen cannot be adjusted or repaired. If a Uconnect® touchscreen control or control indicator lamp is inoperative or damaged, the entire radio must be replaced. Refer to RADIO, REMOVAL .
Prior to replacing an ICS module, check for any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) related to the affected system, and run any related calibration procedures to verify that the concern is not a calibration issue. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
