APS INTERMITTENT DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE
- The DTC is not active at this time. The following may help to identify an intermittent condition:
- Check for any Service Bulletins that may apply.
- Inspect the related wiring harness and connectors. Look for any chafed, pierced, pinched, partially broken wires, or broken, bent, pushed out, or corroded terminals.
- Perform a voltage drop test on the circuits between the component and the applicable module.
- If multiple DTCs are set, use a wiring schematic and inspect any common power or ground circuits.
- Inspect and clean all related ground circuits.
- Use the scan tool to perform any System Test or Actuations to the component(s) that may cause the DTC to set.
- Perform a wiggle test on the related wiring and connectors while monitoring the scan tool. Look for the DTC to change to active or supporting data to change during the test.
