Module, Body Control (BCM): Installation

  1. Install the Body Control Module (BCM) (1) onto the mounting bracket.
  2. Install and securely tighten the BCM mounting bracket fasteners (2).
  3. Connect all BCM wire harness connectors.
  4. Install the passenger side lower kick panel.
  5. Install the passenger side lower Instrument Panel (IP) closeout panel.
  6. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
  7. Using the scan tool, perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
