With Display Screen Module
REMOVAL
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Remove the center trim bezel from the instrument panel. Refer to BEZEL, INSTRUMENT PANEL, APPLIQUE, REMOVAL
.CAUTION:
Pulling the antenna cable straight out of the radio without pulling on the locking antenna connector could damage the cable or radio.
- Remove the fasteners (1) securing the Radio Receiver Module (RRM) bracket (2) to the instrument panel.
- Pull the lower part of the RRM and bracket (1) out and down far enough to access the back of the RRM.
- Disconnect the electrical connector, antennas, and if equipped, the USB connector.
- Remove the RRM from the instrument panel.
