Module, Forward Facing Camera (FFCM): Installation

NOTE:

Make sure the windshield is clean of dirt, dust, or finger prints prior to installing the Forward Facing Camera Module (FFCM).

  1. Install the FFCM to the windshield bracket. Position the FFCM to the bracket attachment point, making sure the alignment tabs are properly aligned and secure the FFCM into place, until the windshield bracket locks are engaged.
  2. Connect the FFCM wire harness connector.
  3. Install the rear view mirror covers. Refer to MIRROR, REARVIEW, INSTALLATION .
  4. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
  5. Perform the FFCM calibration procedure. Refer to MODULE, FORWARD FACING CAMERA (FFCM), MODULE PROGRAMMING .
