Module, Blind Spot (BSM): Removal

NOTE:

The Blind Spot Module (BSM) mounting brackets are bonded to, and integral to, the back side of the rear bumper fascia.

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the rear bumper fascia from the vehicle. Refer to FASCIA, REAR, REMOVAL .

  3. From the back of the rear fascia, disconnect the wiring harness connector (2) from the BSM.
  4. Remove the fastener (1) from the right rearward BSM boss location.
  5. Slide the BSM out of the mounting bracket.
