The Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor (APPS) (6) is attached to the accelerator pedal assembly under the instrument panel.
The APPS is used only with the 5.7L and the 3.6L engines. The 5.7L and 3.6L engines do not use a mechanical throttle cable.
