Housing, Steering Column Bearing: Description
The steering column bearing housing (2) is bolted to the cowl as a seal and steering shaft stabilizer to reduce steering wheel vibration. The steering column shaft bearing (1) is contained within the steering column bearing housing (2). If the housing (2) needs to be serviced, the steering column bearing (1) must also be replaced.
