Module, Forward Facing Camera Half: Installation

NOTE:

Ensure that both inside and outside of the windshield in the area of the Forward Facing Camera-HALF (FFC-HALF) is clean of dirt, dust, or finger prints prior to installation.

  1. Fit the front part of the FFCM-HALF back in place by engaging it in the seat in the mounting.
  2. Rotate the FFCM-HALF and engage its guides with the side retainers of the support.
  3. Connect the wire harness connector to the FFCM-HALF.
  4. Assemble and install the interior rear view mirror covers.
  5. Connect the negative battery cable.
  6. If this Electronic Control Unit (ECU) is being replaced with a new unit, a diagnostic scan tool MUST be used to determine if alignment of the PROXI configuration data into the new ECU is needed. If PROXI alignment is needed, follow the routine outlined in the diagnostic scan tool for PROXI Configuration Alignment under the Body Control Module (BCM) Miscellaneous Functions menu.
  7. Perform module programming. Refer to MODULE, FORWARD FACING CAMERA HALF, MODULE PROGRAMMING .
