Module, Body Control (BCM): Removal

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the steering column opening cover. Refer to COVER, STEERING COLUMN OPENING, REMOVAL .
Disconnect the electric connectors from the Body Control Module (BCM).

Remove the three fasteners (1) that secure the BCM.
Remove the BCM from the housing.
Flip over the BCM to remove the wiring harness connections to the back of the unit.
Remove the BCM from the vehicle.
