Sensor And Bracket

- Check to be certain that the two rivet nuts are properly installed and in good condition in front bumper support bar.
- Position the mounting bracket to the bumper support bar.
- Install and securely tighten the fasteners (2) that secure the mounting bracket (1) to the support bar.
- Install the energy absorber. Refer to ABSORBER, FRONT ENERGY, INSTALLATION
.
- Connect the wiring harness connector (1) to the ACC sensor module.
- Install the front fascia. Refer to FASCIA, FRONT, INSTALLATION .
- Connect the negative battery cable.
- Perform the ACC module alignment procedure. Refer to MODULE, ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL (ACC), MODULE PROGRAMMING .
