Module, Drivetrain Control (DTCM): Description

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2020 Dodge Challenger. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The Drivetrain Control Module (DTCM) is located in the drivers footwell, under the drivers foot rest. The DTCM communicates with the vehicle systems through the Controller Area Network (CAN) bus to optimize the performance of the vehicles All Wheel Drive (AWD) functionality.

The AWD system incorporates anticipator launch capability, infinitely variable torque (e.g. front/rear torque split) and optimizes traction on all surfaces, and in all dynamic scenarios.

The DTCM is located in the drivers footwell, under the drivers foot rest.
