Module, Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC): Installation

  1. If removed, install the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) lens by aligning the tabs to the IPC housing and pressing firmly together to engage the tabs around the perimeter of the IPC.

  2. Position the IPC (1) into the instrument panel opening and connect the wire harness connector.
  3. Install the fasteners (2) for the IPC (1) and tighten securely.
  4. Install the instrument cluster bezel. Refer to BEZEL, INSTRUMENT CLUSTER, INSTALLATION .
  5. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
    NOTE:

    If the cluster has been replaced, the replacement cluster should be programmed with the correct mileage. Verify the correct mileage via Scan Tool.
