Module, Vehicle System Interface (VSIM): Installation

  1. Position the VSIM (1) to the cup holder support bracket (3).
  2. Engage the VSIM retaining tabs (2) to the cup holder support bracket.
    NOTE:

    Verify the retaining tabs are fully engaged to the bracket.

  3. Position the cup holder support bracket (2) and connect the wire harness connectors.
  4. Install the fasteners (1) securing the cup holder support bracket to the instrument panel. Tighten the fasteners securely.
  5. Install the instrument panel cup holder. Refer to CUPHOLDER, INSTRUMENT PANEL, INSTALLATION .
  6. Connect the negative battery cable.
