Module, Fuel Pump: Installation

Install new fuel pump module O-ring to fuel tank.
CAUTION:
The fuel pump module must be installed correctly to prevent damage to the fuel pump module.
Line up the fuel pump module mounting tab to the arrow on the fuel tank.

Install fuel pump module lock ring.
Install fuel pump module lock ring tool and turn clockwise until the fuel pump module lock ring (1) is seated and locked to fuel tank.
(special tool #9340, SAE Fuel Pump Lock Ring Wrench)

Connect the line quick connects to the fuel pump module.
Connect electrical connector (4) to fuel pump module.

Install the fuel pump access cover (1). Tighten the cover screws securely.

Install the carpet cover (1).

Install the drivers seat frame cover (1). Tighten the screws securely (2).
