Diagnostic Test
CHECK IF THE DTC IS ACTIVE
NOTE:
With a scan tool, refer to the Network Review screen to aid in identifying vehicle communication problems. The screen depicts a high level view of the vehicle network and any controllers reporting communication problems will appear in red. The CAN C Bus modules are connected in series, to follow the order, refer to the topology listed on the scan tool. Disconnecting a module will remove that module and all the modules downstream of that module from the CAN C bus which will prevent scan tool communication with those modules.
- Turn the ignition on.
- With a scan tool, read Electric Vehicle Control Unit (EVCU) DTCs.
Is the status of this DTC Active?
Yes
- Refer to NO RESPONSE FROM ECU and perform the No Response from EVCU diagnostic procedure.
No
- Refer to STORED LOST COMMUNICATION DTCS and perform the Stored Lost Communication DTCS diagnostic procedure.
