Global Telematics Box Module (TBM2)

REMOVAL 

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the instrument panel cupholder. Refer to CUPHOLDER, INSTRUMENT PANEL, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  3. Remove the fasteners for the center bracket and position the center bracket away from the instrument panel.

  4. Disconnect the wire harness connector from the Global Telematics Box Module (TBM2).
  5. Remove the fasteners that secure the TBM2 to the center bracket.

  6. Remove the TBM2 from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION 

Follow the removal procedure in reverse for general reassembly of the components on the vehicle. The steps listed below are calling out specific procedures that should be followed during installation.
