Integrated Center Stack (Ics) Module

REMOVAL

Remove the instrument panel trim panel. Refer to PANEL, INSTRUMENT PANEL TRIM, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
Remove the Display Screen Module (DSM). Refer to MODULE, DISPLAY SCREEN (DSM), REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
Remove the fasteners that secure the ICS module and position the ICS module away from the instrument panel.

Disconnect the wire harness connector from the ICS module and remove the module from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION

Follow the removal procedure in reverse for general reassembly of the components on the vehicle. The steps listed below are calling out specific procedures that should be followed during installation.

Tighten the fasteners securely.
Initiate the Actuator Calibration function using a scan tool. Refer to HVAC VERIFICATION TEST .

NOTE: If this Electronic Control Unit (ECU) is being replaced with a new unit, a diagnostic scan tool MUST be used to determine if alignment of the PROXI configuration data into the new ECU is needed. If PROXI alignment is needed, follow the routine outlined in the diagnostic scan tool for PROXI Configuration Alignment under the Body Control Module (BCM) Miscellaneous Functions menu.
