Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC

NOTE:

Before proceeding with this diagnostic procedure, remove any ice, snow, mud, dirt, or other obstructions from the rear fascia/bumper. Also remove any ice, snow, dirt, mud, or other obstructions from the underside of the fascia/bumper surrounding the sensors.

With the scan tool, read RBSS DTCs and record on the repair order.
With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
Using the recorded Environmental Data, along with the When Monitored and Set Conditions above, operate the vehicle in the conditions that set the DTC.
With the scan tool, read RBSS DTCs.
Did the DTC return?

Yes
- Replace and program the Right Blind Spot Sensor (RBSS) in accordance with the Service Information. Refer to SENSORS, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST or BODY VERIFICATION TEST (EV) .
No
- Perform the TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION procedure. Refer to TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
