Diagnostic Test
CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC
NOTE:
Before proceeding with this diagnostic procedure, remove any ice, snow, mud, dirt, or other obstructions from the rear fascia/bumper. Also remove any ice, snow, dirt, mud, or other obstructions from the underside of the fascia/bumper surrounding the sensors.
- With the scan tool, read RBSS DTCs and record on the repair order.
- With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
- Using the recorded Environmental Data, along with the When Monitored and Set Conditions above, operate the vehicle in the conditions that set the DTC.
- With the scan tool, read RBSS DTCs.
Did the DTC return?
Yes
- Replace and program the Right Blind Spot Sensor (RBSS) in accordance with the Service Information. Refer to SENSORS, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST or BODY VERIFICATION TEST (EV) .
No
- Perform the TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION procedure. Refer to TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
