Adaptive Cruise Control (Acc) Module

REMOVAL 

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the center front fascia. Refer to FASCIA, FRONT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  3. Disconnect the wire harness connector from the ACC module.

  4. Remove the bolts securing the ACC to the module bracket and remove the module from the vehicle.
  5. If required, remove the bolts that secure the ACC module bracket to the vehicle.

INSTALLATION 

Follow the removal procedure in reverse for general reassembly of the components on the vehicle. The steps listed below are calling out specific procedures that should be followed during installation.

NOTE: If the ACC module is removed from the bracket, align the module to the bracket so that all four fastener locations are properly seated. Use the given fasteners to secure the ACC module to the bracket. 
NOTE: If this Electronic Control Unit (ECU) is being replaced with a new unit, a diagnostic scan tool MUST be used to determine if alignment of the PROXI configuration data into the new ECU is needed. If PROXI alignment is needed, follow the routine outlined in the diagnostic scan tool for PROXI Configuration Alignment under the Body Control Module (BCM) Miscellaneous Functions menu.
