Inputs And Outputs - Brake System Control Module (BSCM)
The BCM receives the Steering Angle Sensor (SAS) data from the Electric Power Steering (EPS) module in the steering gear and broadcasts the data on the Controller Area Network - Flex-Data (CAN-FD) data bus for BSCM calculations. The BCM gates all LIN data from the HDC, HOLD and ESC/TCS switches to the BSCM.
The BSCM is powered by a fuse in the Power Distribution Center (PDC).
CAN Inputs
- Transfer case status
- Accelerator pedal position (calculated)
- Static engine torque, and effective engine torque
- Steering wheel angle
- Commanded ignition switch status
- Vehicle speed
CAN Outputs
- ABS indication lamp ON request
- Status of any ABS brake event
The IPC receives the following signals:
CAN Inputs
- ABS indication lamp ON request
- Key in ignition status
- Commanded ignition switch status
