VF-BEV Cooling System Architecture

1 - Coolant Temperature Sensor - HV Coolant Heater Input
6 - Coolant Level Sensor - Low Temp
2 - Electric Coolant Pump
7 - Electric Coolant Pump
3 - Coolant Temperature Sensor - HV Coolant Heater Output
8 - Electric Coolant Pump
4 - Coolant Temperature Sensor - Radiator Output
9 - 3 Way Valve
5 - Coolant Temperature Sensor - Radiator Input
 

There are three different types cooling systems on this vehicle. A High Temperature Cooling Loop, a Low Temperature Cooling Loop, HV Battery Cooling Loop, with an A/C Chiller. Cooling pumps are used to pump coolant through the cooling loop and various temp sensors are used to monitor the cooling system for concerns.
