Integrated Trailer Brake Module (ITBM)

REMOVAL 

1. Remove the steering column opening cover. Refer to COVER, STEERING COLUMN OPENING, REMOVAL .
2. Remove the instrument panel center closeout panel. Refer to CLOSEOUT, CENTER, REMOVAL .
3. Remove the Integrated Trailer Brake Module (ITBM) bracket screws.

   2 - Integrated Trailer Brake Module (ITBM) Bracket Screws

   3 - Latch

4. Disconnect the Integrated Trailer Brake Module (ITBM) wire harness connectors and remove the module and bracket from the vehicle.
5. Release the latch on the module and separate the module from the bracket.
