Removal & Installation
- Coolant temperature sensor is installed in thermostat housing, above water pump. Disconnect coolant temperature sensor electrical connector. Remove sensor from thermostat housing.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten coolant temperature sensor to 21 ft. lbs. (28 N.m). Replace any lost coolant. Pressure check cooling system for leaks.
