Oxygen Sensor: Service and Repair

OXYGEN SENSOR REPLACEMENT


1. Using the proper removal tool, remove the oxygen sensor.
2. Clean the threads in the exhaust manifold with a tap before installing the oxygen sensor.
3. Coat oxygen sensor threads with a nickel based anti-seize compound.
4. Torque sensor to 22 ft.lbs. (30 Nm)

Note: Do not use graphite based anti-seize compounds.
